Crowley (the character) wouldn't, but the real question is, why would David Tennant get a real tattoo? It would limit his employment prospects after "Good Omens" finishes. (Sorry to be so prosaic and down-to-earth) ;)

Peter Serafinowicz was in "Good Omens", I believe (the BBC radio one). IIRC, he played Crowley.

I saw in the latest promotional youtube video for staged season 3 that both Tennent and Scheen had both got their good omens hairstyles and that filming was just about done

Yuck. I've totally avoided all the recorded dramatizations, which, so far seem, to have been totally panned. And I don't think the new audiobooks will lead people to the Planer and Briggs versions. For one thing, I would think that when most people one audiobook version they don't tend to buy...

Update on Season 2 filming: Neil will be co-show-running Anansi Boys, which will be filmed in the same studio location, AT THE SAME TIME that they are filming Good Omens S2. That's going to keep him busy. I just hope he doesn't get the two confused.
