Ah, drat - looks like I missed it. :( I haven't read any of Neil's books, except "Good Omens" (which he co-wrote with Pterry). I don't like horror or dark fantasy. :(

I don't know of any other Adams in Pratchett's work. To be picky, Good Omens isn't technically a Discworld book.

And both Good Omens and Paradise Lost are Biblical fanfic,recycling Adam and Eve and Satan. There is a point where reduction ad absurdum turns everything into "This is just a story about living creatures doing things."

I still think Sky did a good job on the Discworld films with Hogfather being my favourite one. I will watch it again at Christmas.

The audio version recently released on Audible (adapted and directed by Dirk Maggs, whom people may be familiar with from his work on the audio versions of Good Omens, Neverwhere, and Hitch-Hiker's Guide 3-6) is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.
