    Good Omens part two

New series of Good Omens to be filmed.:mrgreen:But since we live in the magical world of TV, where anything is possible, the BBC and Amazon show is set for a second season. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/14936506/da ... ood-omens/

My error it was actually Kensal Green Cemetery in London

    31 today Tempus Fugit

For a man who doesn't believe in any deity, Marx sure got a big tomb. ;) Thanks, Dug -- now I remember it. I was simply too late for the hard-cover edition of Good Omens -- I have the paperback edition instead. This one:

    Good Omens Lockdown

A Good Omens parody? Well, I hope it's done in good taste and all. I've seen a few "parodies" online that were too bad for words.

    Good Omens Lockdown

The Hillywood Show gofundme is fully funded. They will be producing their parody of Good Omens! Neil Gaiman is happy about it.

    Book deals for Neil Gaiman

Ah, drat - looks like I missed it. :( I haven't read any of Neil's books, except "Good Omens" (which he co-wrote with Pterry). I don't like horror or dark fantasy. :(

    The Discworld Word Game

I don't know of any other Adams in Pratchett's work. To be picky, Good Omens isn't technically a Discworld book.

    The Discworld Word Game

Early Tea => Adam (Now I'm curious. Are there any Adams other than in "Good Omens")?

The program about Sir Terry. BBC2

I miss this bookshop in Birmingham, used to pop in there when at a Brum Con, full of SF & Fantasy books and related material. it was the first place they had a signing of Good Omens.

    The Watch update

Thanks for the link, Dug. Not only did I get my new signature from it, but I also got this quote:

    The Watch update

You forgot Dante Aligheri's the Divine Comedy, which is Biblical self-insert fanfic if I ever saw it...

    The Watch update

And both Good Omens and Paradise Lost are Biblical fanfic, recycling Adam and Eve and Satan. There is a point where reduction ad absurdum turns everything into "This is just a story about living creatures doing things."

    The Watch update

I still think Sky did a good job on the Discworld films with Hogfather being my favourite one. I will watch it again at Christmas.

    The Watch update

...so Howl's Moving Castle took a 90-degree turn and became yet another Miyazaki vehicle instead of the complex psychological portrait it is. Good Omens languished for decades until Neil Gaiman managed to keep enough control over it to keep it fairly true to its origin. Unless Narrativia can...

David Tennant and Michael Sheen in "Lockdown"

I loved it. I have been going through all the pages of Good Omens on Youtube too.

The BBC Watch really belongs here

Two words: "Good Omens". ;) Seriously, though? Even the Discworld cartoons (sorry, "animated series") looks and sounds better than the BBC Watch right now.
