Hey guys, remember me?

I was wondering after not reading Terry for a fair few months if anyone knew his plans for next year? I heard about the diary but I would like to know more provided you have the information.

Also I heard about Terry and his heart problem a few months ago. I was totally shocked. Thank you Rob for saving a hero. :)

He's "halfway through a Discworld novel" (rumored to be titled Raising Taxes) and is working on The Long Earth book two and his autobiography. Probably he'll turn out something else as well.

Another Moist von Lipwig book, then? Hope it's not another re-tread of Going Postal, I wasn't hugely impressed with Making Money in some ways. I couldn't really see how the "golem solution" at the end was supposed to work.

Cover of the forthcoming The Science of Discworld IV: Judgement Day

Book Description
Publication Date: 11 April 2013 | Series: Science of Discworld £16.14

The fourth book in the Science of Discworld series, and this time around dealing with THE REALLY BIG QUESTIONS, Terry Pratchett's brilliant new Discworld story Judgement Day is annotated with very big footnotes (the interleaving chapters) by mathematician Ian Stewart and biologist Jack Cohen, to bring you a mind-mangling combination of fiction, cutting-edge science and philosophy.

Marjorie Dawe is a librarian, and takes her job - and indeed the truth of words - very seriously. She doesn't know it, but her world and ours - Roundworld - is in big trouble. On Discworld, a colossal row is brewing.

The Wizards of the Unseen University feel responsible for Roundworld (as one would for a pet gerbil). After all, they brought it into existence by bungling an experiment in Quantum ThaumoDynamics. But legal action is being brought against them by Omnians, who say that the Wizards' god-like actions make a mockery of their noble religion.

As the finest legal brains in Discworld (a zombie and a priest) gird their loins to do battle - and when the Great Big Thing in the High Energy Magic Laboratory is switched on - Marjorie Dawe finds herself thrown across the multiverse and right in the middle of the whole explosive affair.

As God, the Universe and, frankly, Everything Else is investigated by the trio, you can expect world-bearing elephants, quantum gravity in the Escher-verse, evolutionary design, eternal inflation, dark matter, disbelief systems - and an in-depth study of how to invent a better mousetrap.

I liked the Moist books. Glad to hear there's another one on its way!
I like them too, and I'm hoping this next one completes what I think will be a story arc, not just "another adventure".

I thought Making Money was great, If TPratchett's continuing the story then I can't wait.
I was hopeful, but the latest tweets appear to indicate that he's working on something else entirely. "Top Secret" they said. And researching something else again.

Forgot what book but a local whsmiths staff member told me about a book coming out In April, I think tsod4? I'm not all that interested in it personally, I mean sure I want to get everything TP of COURSE but I'm satisfied with the ending of #3, I am not desperate for it to continue, it didn't have a cliffhanger after all unlike the long earth which I DO want desperately.
