That's 2014 - right?

I am well and truly confused. Most places say that this book is due for publication in October 2014. But some other places say it's October 2013. As a new member pointed out elsewhere, Tesco online say they have it in stock.

Amazon.co.uk say next October.

There is nothing on Colin Smythe's website about it.

Will anyone shed some light as to what "A Slip of the Keyboard" is about? Amazon says essays. I'm not familiar with Terry Pratchett's non-fictional side. What is he interested in?

I've just checked Amazon again. There's another Long Earth book called The Long Childhood.

Slip" is bit's n pieces that did not make not make into "A Blink" also I think his stuff from when he was a journalist, and other non fiction shorts.

That's part three of Long Earth don't know how many are being written.

There are quite a few non fiction writings that were in OMWF that will probably be in the new book as well, mainly forewords to other books such as Brewers Phrase and Fable Millennum edition to give one example although there are several more. There is also the article he wrote about the development of the Discworld which has only been published in the proof copy of Sourcery which may well be included (or at least Colin hinted it would be in an email last year). We may also see transcripts of speeches included. I'm looking forward to it

Blink of the Screen is a collected set of Terry's short fiction - there is a lot of overlap with "Once More with Footnotes" but it also contains a few items not in "Once", and none of the non-fiction from "Once".

The Amazon.co.uk "Look Inside" feature has the table of contents available: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blink-Screen-Co ... 0552163333

Slip of the Keyboard's publication has been delayed until later in 2014, probably due to Raising Steam filling that slot.
