Mildly disturbing.
But he could spank a lady using his own arm but handcuffs would probably be useless.
The ol Kama Sutra could learn a thing or two when you have someone who can reposition body parts.
It'll give new meaning to having a stiffy

I'm not sure that Sir Terry would be able to, even intentionally, write badly enough to keep 50 shades fans happy.

As for love stories, go read Thief of Time, that's got a nice one in it.

Hilariously (for me) I edit erotic romance novels for a living. For the record, they've existed (and I've been editing them) for much longer than 50 Shades, and so have BDSM novels (and better done, IMO). At the same time I have to admire ELJames for cashing in like a boss.

Anyhoo, in my opinion, Discworld already has one of the best love stories in the world - Sybil and Vimes.

Yes, and Rebecca Black is "popular", doesn't make her, or it, any good.

I am genuinely tempted to go find a well written bdsm erotic novel, buy a few hundred copies in bulk, and offer a free copy in trade for a copy of 50 shades.

For the record, this was my point earlier.
I have nothing against "romance" novels, erotic or not.
Nor anything against BDSM, novel or not.
50 shades is just horribly written.
No, I didn't think you were slamming the genre as a whole. I just get rather tired of people (in general - not you) thinking 50 Shades is some incredibly new idea

I can recommend some very good BDSM novels should the mood take you
