its grand. Nearly went to OZ to study anabranching rivers in new south wales but would have been stationed in Canberra so ran from that :rolleyes:
Might get back to it in a few years but in the meantime settled down and working away :laugh:

Can't you get funding from a research council, or a fellowship? Then they pay for the whole three/four years, so they can't take it back.

I wouldn't come from Ireland and go to live in Canberra either? Why would you run from cold weather to come live in the coldest place in Australia, way inland far far far from the beaches, full of politicians, porn capital of Australia.......

It DOES have the snowfields at its doorstep though.
