So after Snuff what do you think the next novel will be, do you also think as the next one after Snuff is No.40 in the series it will be the last one?

Well, I don't really want to speculate on the next one until I've read this one and then I'll know who's in it and what it's really about.

I think if the next one is the last one a Death centric one that encorporates all the major characters, but not nessesarily interacting with each other would be nice.

I loved GP and MM. The dog with the, err, "adult" toy cracks me up everytime!!

I loved GP but MM felt like hard work. I've never been tempted to pick it up again. But each to their own. My stapler is resting quite safely on my desk 8)

I don't know what to think of the idea of having a novel after snuff...
Not even sure if I will buy that one at all...
Honestly The first paragraph of Thud ruined all the positive expectations I had with it after the sample reading in Australia.

Not to mention I don't WANT to read another novel set in the same reality as UA and MM.
Same reality as GP? TLC? Truth? Yes please, but UA and MM? No thank you.

If you'd wanna be snappy, one could say that if one looks at the things Vetinari does in UA it IS someone else as patrician than vetinari.....

I'd rather like a story told from a complete new set of characters with a non-morporkian mentality.
Someone who reveals that AM isn't as inventive and great as them Morks think it is... (granted, capital city mentality, they're suffering from the same ego-change as some admins)
