I would like to get in touch with Mr Pratchett re:alzheimer please.

Could someone please pass this info on to him:

Jim Humble's MMS has been found to cure Alzheimers and these are extracts from the Sept and Oct newsletters:

Sept 2010:
Jim Humble's MMS

Newsletter

Alzheimer Patient Regains Memory

I thought you would like to hear about another miracle. This time it is an Alzheimer patient. We haven't found many Alzheimer patients as they are often hidden away somewhere and always have relatives that know better. But in this lady's case her son had watched the medical doctors do absolutely nothing for years and he has seen MMS do something, so he was willing to try.

Within two weeks she was back to thinking clearly.(Who knows how clearly, but that is what she says as opposed to saying that she could not think at all.) In addition, much of her memory had returned. In fact, she is not only remembering what she ate but what spices were in the food! She is remembering details!!Of course, she is not totally cured yet, but she is back to living her life. All the indications are that she will be well in a few more weeks. Have you ever heard of a medical drug doing anything similar in such a short time? Well, if you did hear of such a thing, it was not true, because there are no such medical reports. As I write this sentence (9/22/2010) this lady has finished her 3rd week and a telephone call to her this morning proves she is feeling even better with even better thinking and more memory returned.

I know, You’re Thinking, “Where's the Proof?”Where are the double blind clinical trials?Well, we will probably get some of those trials soon.We simply haven't had the money for such trials so far.We are hoping to get the money to fund such trials. Meanwhile, if you absolutely wanted to prove it to yourself we could organize a trip for a group of us to visit this lady. She'd be OK to see a group and you could talk to her neighbors to find out how she has been doing for the past 5 years, and we might even be able to get her doctor to visit while the group is there. But do you see, the simpler thing is, why try to prove it?

*

Why not just get some MMS and try it like several million people have already done? It's cheap, about $20 for a year's supply.Oh, you will spend more because you need citric acid or lemon juice, but the most you will spend is still about 2 cents a dose.

*

I hope you understand. This is the way it’s got to be.MMS sells for $20 for a year’s supply.A friend I know who has been taking a drug for leukemia spends $8000 a month for that drug. The drug companies can afford double blind test in a billion dollar clinical lab.But we can’t.In order for that many people around the world and even in the US to afford MMS and overcome their suffering, the price must be cheaper. Our lab is this:you take some, and does it make your feel better or not?Does it make your tumor go away or not?Well, for thousands so far it works.
From the Oct 2010 newsletter:
I have a couple of success stories from people

who have just sent in their testimony. We get at least one a day.

The following is someone else writing:

“My father had early signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s and now his mental

state is improving daily. The miracles I have seen with mms is so miraculous its

clear a guy like you Jim did not name this solution lightly, you named it perfectly Jim

(Miracle Mineral Solution) with a scientific explanation anybody can understand. My

friend has had fibromyalgia as you know incurable, he is now playing golf again after

12 years, his multiple sclerosis friend is out jogging again after 6 years of suffering,

he was on the verge of getting a wheelchair and after just 4 days taking mms he

is no long thinking of it. My motor mechanic friend used 3 years of creams on his

hands and eventually steroid cream to no avail. The dry cracked skin condition on

his hands was one half gone after one wash over by the next morning, and all gone

in three days.”

Welcome to the site, watanabe.

Unfortunately, nobody here has any way of passing information to Terry. But thanks for the info and good luck with getting it to him. :)

SPAM!!!

http://jimhumble.biz/biz-generalinfo.htm

"You can become an affiliate and promote (sell) my books, DVD, and MMS bottles. You get a 50% commission for each book you sell and you don't have to handle the book, money, or shipping."

Apparently this Jim Humble has "cured" 100,000 people in Africa of malaria with this stuff.... But there is no evidence of it actually working, no clinical trails or anything at all, just a whole sh*t ton of people telling heartwarming story of it curing anything from colds to aids! The whole thing stinks a mile off, and I pity anyone foolish enough to get drawn in...

And oh by the way, do you not think that TP has actually LOOKED INTO TREATMENT??? I mean really, what the hell are you thinking? And if this victorian-era 'WONDER CURE ALL' actually lived up to it's incredible claims, do you not think that it would have received some sort of huge news coverage such as:

JIM HUMBLE CURES MALARIA AND AIDS WITH A SIMPLE FORMULA OF ACIDIFIED SODIUM CHLORATE

I mean really? This is the same stuff used to help preserve processed meat! ==> http://www.fao.org/ag/agn/agns/files/je ... 202007.pdf

So really, do not insult the intelligence of this board, and certainly DO NOT insult the victims and their families of serious illnesses by peddling this crap on here!

There is an amazing thread about this whole crock here:

http://sguforums.com/index.php/topic,26025.0.html

"This is one of the major issues I have with this "treatment." Some of the folks selling it are giving you sodium chlorite while others are selling sodium chloride and still others are selling chlorine dioxide. Even the people selling this "treatment" can't agree on what the active ingredient should be!

Two of the three are toxic, cause damage to organic tissue and pose health risks when consumed. The third is just table salt. That's right, some of the folks selling "MMS" are selling you ordinary salt, probably figuring no one will notice the one letter difference between sodium chlorite and sodium chloride. Given the fact that anti-vax loons can't tell the difference between ethyl mercury, methyl mercury and elemental mercury that's probably a safe assumption on their part.

This also complicates any efforts to discuss MMS as it's proponents will often use the three chemicals interchangeably, citing information about the safe intake level of table salt to counter toxicity studies of the other two."

It saddens me that you feel this is a load of old crock.
I'm merely trying to contact Terry Pratchett and hoped that posting here would leade to him.
If you have Alzheimers of a relative suffering from it, you would research all ways of dealing with such a horrible condition.

In any case, peace, love and blessings to you all. I apologise for disturbing this forum. Do feel free to delete my posts.

How can you trust anyone that signs off with the message "In any case, peace, love and blessings to you all"?

I do get a little tired of people who only join this site to advertize items to sell, and then are never heard of again!

That sounded like someone who wanted to prey on others fears hoping they would bite and clutch at staws while being ripped off money wise.

But on the other hand maybe I should not jump to conclusions,as they may have had good intentions otherwise and thought they were helping.

Well I'll admit I googled this MMS stuff straight away, and came to the conclusion that it's snake oil. Is watanabe definitely selling it do you think?

He quotes from a series of newsletters so possibly.
I find it odd that any one would think one of the most high profile sufferers of altzeimers isn't looking at and have others looking at every feasable cure.
Feasable does not cover stuff that amounts to less than homeopathic
solutions and snakeoils etc .

If watanabe's intentions were pure we wish you the best and peace out.

Maybe Terry should be trying activated water, or crystals  He might look like a lemon, but at least it won't make him worse.

Funny how all the miracle cures that supposedly occur with such rubbish evaporate when it comes to actually gathering data. Water comes out of the tap about as active as it's going to get, and crystals look nice on key-rings. And MMS is great for cleaning the bathroom.
