Carrot's OK - but he's just boring mostly now. I did actually prefer him when he was 'with' Minty as a romance. With Angua I'm more with Tony really - she makes all the running and really he doesn't seem to make much effort with her until Fifth Elephant and then ends up making a real dork of himself. He does love her though and she's bonded now which means it has to end in marriage as wolves of course mate for life...

Off to get IST like Dug - romance is deeply over-rated and depressing right now!

So that's a creationist, an atheist and a projectionist. What a shambles!
Do I hear another -ist? Anyone? o_O:
I'm a geophysicist and an anthropologist
Do you like Carrot?

And I would prefer Carrot to get married to Angua as well. I wonder what the children would be? Werewolf or human?

Has it ever been said how dominant the werewolf gene is? If it's dominant, the chances will be 75/25 in favour of howling at the moon.

Not a molecular biologist :p No-one knows what I am!

Well in Angua's family of 4 children from 2 full werewolf parents we got 2 full werewolves, Angua and Wolfgang and 2 Yennorks, Andrei who's fully/always canine (and works as a sheepdog somewhere or other?) and Elsa who was fully/always human and got accidently 'culled' by Wolfgang... :(

I'd say it's a fairly dominant gene

molecular biology is my chosen field
We don't usually quote from someone's pm on the main site, I'd prefer it if you didn't (although I'm not mad) - the reason I phrased things the way I did is because I don't talk about my qualifications either. But I'm not a molecular biologist - I use it a lot in my job, but it's scientific tool for me. I don't think a qualification gives you the right to use that to describe yourself, you really have to specialise in it to call yourself an ist.

I find Carrot tolerable and occasionally funny and/or interesting. As for his relationship with Angua, I'd say the fact that he's living in sin with her shows Carrot isn't as straight laced as people might think. I could easily see him marrying her but the current situation seems stable so why would Carrot who's patently not an instigator be the one to propose. I see him marrying her if she drops some not too subtle hints or him and some of the lads have a talk with him about his relationship
