Ankh-Morpork Anthem

While Googling the A-M flag I found a recording of the Ankh-Morpork Anthem performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the soprano Clare Rutter.* The music was written by Carl Davis.

I've heard various renditions of the anthem before, including Terry himself singing it to a bunch of us while we were waiting to do the maskerade at the Clarecraft event - but this is the first time I've heard it done seriously (sort of).

The lyrics of the anthem are as follows:

So it's gone platinum? I can't even find anywhere to buy a download. It doesn't appear to be on either iTunes or Carl Davis's own site.

Anyone got any info, please?

I suspect the 'it's gone platinum' comment was a joke to do with content of the song. That was, after all, the first performance of that version and, as far as I know, the only one.

Only a day visit Dots.... its only half an hour away. But we don't go down much... too many tourists ... and sharks... and rips... and traffic.... whiney aren't I.

Pooh the rigger has gone home for a year or so I guess. Just a friend you understand.

I am on tonight because of the hols, then I have to take my sister for a brain scan, then I have to take a girlfriend across town, then I have two days of appointments and then it will be Thursday again and then I will be working..... I have NO life and yet things keep filling it up! ARGH! I so want a life.... but when?
