you know what, its not that bad to remake a 20 or 30 year old show or movie. its the remakes to movies that came out in the LAST TEN YEARS that i role my eyes at.

yeah i'm looking at you spiderman and fantastic four. i liked both of them and wish they would just make sequals instead of starting over.

the only ray of light i see is the guy that made Chronicle is in charge of the F4 remake.

and based on early reviews i've seen, whats in that trailer is nothing compared to the full film, which has been described as simply "badass".

No there is no originality in Hollywood.

And to some degree WE the public are to blame. We expect big screen big budget movies and Hollywood isnt immune to the GFC. They want or need a sure thing.

Its still no excuse for lack of an imagination.

I hated the first 3 men and a baby. Please... where do I start.....

The Lone Ranger was announced too, but it got scrapped, but now its back again.

The reason it got scrapped? it was going to cost $250 million. i SO want to see that script to see how the hell a western could cost $250 million.
I think it has Johnny Depp as Tonto :p
