Vince Vaughn never struck us as the "Brady" type, but maybe that's what will make his reboot worth watching!
The Wedding Crashers star is reportedly in talks with CBS to developed, executive produce and star in a Brady Bunch reboot.
The idea is that the multi-camera sitcom will revolved around Vaughn playing Bobby Brady, the youngest of Mike Brady's boys in the original, who gets divorced and remarries to create another blended family.
Unlike the original running between 1969 and 1974, this version will prominently feature the couple's exes, which weren't really discussed back in the day.
We've certainly had enough Brady over the years, but could see this show working if Vaughn stays true to his comic persona. We imagine the modernized sitcom wouldn't be all that wholesome and we'll find out that the world has turned Bobby into somewhat of a grouch.
Plus, we could see lots of fun cameos from the original cast! They can't all come back, but it would be fun to see Florence Henderson take on the role of Carol Brady again, while Barry Williams and Maureen McCormick could play Vaughn's older siblings.
The more ideas we toss out into the world for anyone to take advantage of, the more we like the sound of this Brady Bunch reboot.
