Another one...

the political system of Ankh-Morpork is described as "One Man, One Vote," in which Vetinari alone is the Man, and he has the Vote.
Anyone know which novel this one is from?

@ The Mad Collector & Tonyblack, many thanks went on and I have found it, just waiting for the seller to reply to my many questions before I purchase it.

It is a great website and will be using it more often. Also thanks for the welcome.

Hi, me again:

Say, in which book do we learn Ponder never knew his father? I just can't find it anymore :(
(Yes, still working on that guide)

I think in the Last Continent it's mentioned Ponder was raised by his Aunts
That I got, but I think elsewhere it was also said he never knew his father.

And yep, me again.
In addition to the still standing question:
How far is Pseudopolis from AM?
I heard some say 500 Miles, other's say half a day's ride, which is about 40 miles.

Thanks, but I'd appreciate a quote from the stories. After all, AFAIR the Mapp also put it roughly 500 Miles away from AM, not 50

There's an excellent map of the Sto Plains on Deviant Art. I know the maker of the map posted here about it some time ago. I think it's pretty accurate* and, as you can see from the scale, it is much less than 500 miles. I thought that Lancre was about 500 miles from A-M. :)

Click on the map to enlarge.

*as accurate as a map of a fictitious place can be.
