En route to Wincanton I went into an Oxfam shop in Hammersmith picked up two Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse hardback books Deadlocked & Dead Reckoning and they are the last two printed for 0.99p each, also there was 15 Discworld paperbacks for 99p each.

I keep on finding rare books for like pennies last year I was running early for work and I had some time to kill
so I had a wander around the town centre and the first charity shop I think it was a Mary Stevens shop I went into I found a 2nd edition of the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy for just £1.50 and the next shop just around the corner from it I found a proof edition of A heart shaped box by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son) for £1.25

But two years ago I found a English 1st edition of Richard Batchman's The rage for £1.15 and yes I told the lady at the till what it was but she didn't believe me and put the book back on the shelf without checking out it's value so the next day I went and brought it

Good scores there, Ghost!
thank you my seller friend tell me I have amazing luck but I think he's getting a tad pissed off with me
for going into his patch and finding stuff he's missed so I can't ask him for valuations on my books even though he doesn't do it for free

I try and get into Second Hand shops on my travels whenever i can, but i only look for Terry Pratchett Paperbacks because i've started to collect them,I think i've got about 20 at the moment, I've got a couple of Hardbacks in my collection but i am enjoying collecting them i read them as i get them for now but once i collect a series i'll read them again in order, that way i can read all the bits that i missed the first time...

It seems to have dried up in my area for second hand Terry Pratchett books, it seems everyone is asking for them, but i'll keep looking, I found some in ASDA recently for £3 ish which was good, i even bought one that i've read already although it was from a Libriary so didn't own it, i do now though, I'm off down south soon so will look there.

I kind of miss those days when I was a new reader of his books
and was still actively looking for books that I haven't read yet

So do I! :(
I am trying to get The Compleat Ankh- Morpork though.
