I've found in the past that it's sometimes worth taking a quick look at the children's book section of charity shops as Pratchett books sometimes get put there by people who don't know any better. ;)

That's what the Woman said when i asked, "We've only got some Children's books by Terry Pratchett, so she brought them to me cos i had the Pram and couldn't go in so i looked and said i'll have all 4,she said 30p each, so i gave her £2 and donated the rest,it was well worth it, It's always good to keep up good relations eh!

Re: Book bargains

Question to all: once you have copies of all the books, and perhaps second copies to read to shreds or lend to others, do you still buy more second hand copies? Or do you leave them on the shelf in the hope that someone else will find them and discover the Discworld?

I used to buy any copies that I found, but that started to get ridiculous and, as you say, I realised that if I bought the copies then I might be stopping someone else from discovering Discworld. :)

I only buy ones that i do not have for my collection. I found a copy of THUD, but as i've already got a copy, it was left for someone else to buy, In fact that reminds me, i have a few books that i've got, that i need to take to the Second Hand shop next time that i'm off

I forgot to say i bought The Science of Discworld, Judgement Day, in Asdas for £9.99p half price on Saturday..
