And yet I was reading a fan thingy on Twitter yesterday, and a shed(no pun intended)load of people were saying they loved the trilogy so much they were going to read it again.

And my mate, Jen, said the same thing yesterday afternoon.
I just don't know how to respond to that. o_O

And here is the new jump on the bandwagon one, probably the 1st of many.
Synopsis
"Bared to You" by Sylvia Day is the first in the Crossfire trilogy featuring Gideon and Eva, two wounded souls who come together in an explosion of lust and passion as intoxicating as it is devastating - the perfect read for fans of bestselling erotic romance "Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James. Our journey began in fire...Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness - beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily...Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other's most private wounds...and desires. The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart...Intensely romantic, darkly sensual and completely addictive, "Bared to You" will take you to the very limits of obsession - and beyond. Sylvia Day is the "New York Times" and "USA Today" bestselling author of over a dozen novels written across multiple sub-genres - contemporary, fantasy, historical, futuristic, science fiction, romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and urban fantasy - under multiple pen names: three! A wife and mother of two, she is a former Russian linguist for the U.S. Army Military Intelligence. The second novel in the series "Reflected in You" is available from "Penguin in October". ""Bared to You" has an emotional feel similar to "Fifty Shades

Mucky books for women have been around for years. I remember seeing one in Anne Summers once called "Candida in Paris", but since Candida is also the name for a yeast infection, I wasn't tempted to pick up a copy

Everyone at work (since dispatch is 90% female) seems to be reading these books. I keep showing up with Stephen King novels (all my Discworld stuff is ebook format since I moved) and avoid the conversations altogether. They don't like my thoughts on this drivel. ;)

I don't know. Discworld on ebooks  thats nearly as bad.
Found it hilarious that someone tried to say this rubbish has outsold Harry Potter . Shame people don't read the entire story . Its paper backs sold faster over a certain number of weeks than Harry potter had. It reminded me of when a mate of mine tried to say Madness were a bigger band than the Beatles

Welcome ShortStacked.

I assume your thoughts on this drivel mirror the thoughts of the rest of us on this forum?
If by that you mean do I think it's not fit to be toilet paper, then yes. :-D
But perfectly suitable for an E-book.
Well played! I admit, I got the ebooks because it's much easier to bring the nook to work than it is a paperback ( the nook case holds up better to squishing in my bag, lol ), and I have limited space in my itty-bitty house to hold books. :(
