Really enjoyed 2012 Wipe.

Being a big fan of Two Episodes Of Mash, I was very pleased to see Diane Morgan in it. Her bits were great.

That entertainment show where the presenters apparently didn't realise that the Titanic disaster was real and wasn't just a film by James Cameron was incredible. If you didn't see it, they described the Costa Concordia disaster in Italy as a "like a Real-Life Titanic". Wow.

Enjoyed the first 'Weekly Wipe'.

One completely daft bit which made me laugh was the 'talking heads' talking about the BBC series 'Africa'.

Barry ******** - "There was this amazing programme called Africa, about this country called Africa. Which was why they called it that. There was all these charity things saying that Africa's full of starving people and that you should send them your money, but that must be a con because you can see from the footage that no-one actually lives in Africa! It flies over for ages, and there's literally no-one there! And the reason there's nobody left in Africa is that it's full of monsters. There's like hairy men monsters and tall horse monsters that run around like deck chairs would, if deck chairs ran. And there's these vagina-head monsters that fight in ponds. It's really frightening, I'm glad it's miles away."

Philomena Cunk - "Normally, animals are in zoos where people give them a sense of purpose by throwing nuts at them and watching them do tricks, but because there's no people left in Africa, the animals have gone mad! Like the elephants attack each other with their mouth sticks, and the tall horse monsters have these 'head fighting competitions' that look like they'd filmed Rocky inside two giraffes by mistake.

I'm glad this Weekly Wipe is mostly his usual format, with only a short discussion show segment. I think Charlie Brooker is best when he's on a misanthropic roll, but I think he actually likes people really, and when he's around other people in a studio, it shows! Apart from anything else, it makes him smile! Which just isn't right... I much prefer him when he's ranting to a camera which doesn't talk back.

I haven't seen all of that, but what I saw of that was very good. :)

I enjoyed the first two stories of his other drama series Black Mirror last year. I missed the third, mostly because the online chatter I read said that it wasn't very good. I haven't watched the first episode of the second season of that yet...
