If Pete Postlethwaite was still alive, he'd be Vimes. Me...Christopher Eccleston, I reckon, given the right sort of make-up. Or maybe John Simm. I'd suggest Philip Glenister, but then again, there's typecasting, not to mention he doesn't seem quite right for Vimes.

Carrot= I said Eric Bana earlier, so I'll stick with him

Lady Ramkin= Camille Coduri

Fred Colon= Colin Baker or Ian McNiece or Terry Molloy
