I posted it before I watched it -

- that was fascinating! So candid. I like that they mention that it is set at the end, so the Lady Sybil hospital already exists and so on - awesome. As he says end does that sound like confirmation that Snuff will be the last Watch book?

And these are supposed to be professional journolists? Rolling Eyes
Let he/she who has not sinned cast the first stone bouncy ;)
Oh I know. I couldn't decide between Journos or the whole word, so combined the two.

Then again, I'm not a professional writer, and the good people at SFX should know a hell of a lot better.

I'm still excited about it, still gently vibrating with fangasmic glee. I've been waiting for some similar announcment since... well, since I first picked up Guards Guards in 1999. It'd make a great TV drama, yes it'll have competition (I'm suprised at all the different series announced by SFX), but it'll have one massive advantage over the others: it's source material has been around longer. The City Watch has it's fan base, which will surely bolster numbers. We'll see, I'm still cautiously optimistic!

Also, casting suggestions:

David O'Hara - Vimes
After I saw him in the Tudors as the Earl of Surrey, I think he's a winner. Perhaps he's a bit too young... either him or possibly... maybe... Philip Glenister. I think.
Samuel Roukin - Carrot
He's tall (check out his photos at the premier for Bright Star, he's freakin' massive!), ginger (okay he has a silly floppy fringe at the moment, but we can fix that) and broad shouldered. His IMDB photo doesn't do him any favours, but I saw him in Happy Go Lucky and I think he'd be as close to perfect as is humanly possible. Also, he looks a bit like the Paul Kidby version of Carrot... perhaps he ought to go to the gym a bit more just in case.
Annabel Scholey - Sally/Angua
She could be either, but more likley Sally. She was Lauren in Being Human (the vampire that Mitchell turns in series 1).
