Hi,
A question occurred to me today, when I was thinking in some depth about the discworld universe and it's possibilities for writing, and this popped out of the dark chasm that is my mind (though I'd like to make it clear that this is a purely theoretical question and I have no inention of doing this myself) - given that the discworld universe is described in quite some depth and not exclusively to the discworld & it's immediate vicinity itself - is it possible for either Sir Terry or others to write wholy sperate stories based on other worlds - for example, the world seen by the water troll where it is a dragon holding it's tail in it's mouth? And in the case of persons other than Sir Terry, can they even use his universe as a staging ground, furthermore would he even ever deign to give his permission?
just out of sheer curiosity,
cheers,
Hublander.
