I've been known to 'rescue' Pratchett books from charity shops, even though I've already got them. And ex library copies too. But I then pass them on to people who have trouble getting them.
It seems to me that Pratchett books are a lot rarer in charity shops these days. Sometimes you'll see a whole bunch of them and you wonder how come someones collection ended up there. But they aren't like Dan Brown books - every single charity shop in the world has at least one copy of The Da Vinci Code for sale.*
