You will probably have it confiscated by Ops, anything like that tends to be held by them and only available to you at specific events such as Gala Dinner as it could be seen as a weapon

I know a gopher who was maskerading as Hilta Goatfounder was using a shoulder height (at least) staff last time at Birmingham - 'cos she let me have a stroke as it was a lovely piece of apple wood. It did have a more 'Gandalf' type knob rather than the pokey or thumping kind.

Still best to check it in with Ops anyway, just so they know you're using it for more than cosmetic purposes - I may have to pop Sadie's parrot-headed brolly past them as well as it has a lovely pointy bit... :shifty:

It might be possible to ask to add people to the table by email Tino (you can amend existing orders for the hotel booking for instance).

Thanks for your enquiry.

You can edit your booking to include A N Other by navigating to Sign up >
Orders >View all your orders. On here you should see your Banquet booking
and make any amendments you need. You can do this if you change your mind on
menu choice, too.

If for any reason you cannot enter additional names, please ask your fellows
to include a combination of diners. It might also be useful to put the
information into the free-form dietary requirements box (as long as this is
currently empty).

So Tino - what's your membership number? I just looked on the website and you can edit the order yourself but I think they want everyone to agree to the seating arrangements
