I might be down a day early, to get over the jet lag. It is a 15 hour flight But I've flown Singapore-Chicago, I can do anything!

Well there is usually a quiz organised in the evening for the people who arrive on the Thursday to get to know one another and get a head start on the rest of us.

I went to the quiz last year. Bloody hell, the questions were difficult!
I was on the same team as the guy who played Frank 'n' Furter in the Rocky Horror. We lost, but I was responsible for two of our answers, which were both wrong.

There'll be plenty of beer around, but the hotel bar ain't exactly cheap and their beer isn't exactly the best of what's available...

MAD - do you know a good local charabanc firm who could cart us off to The Griffin one afternoon/evening there's not much on? We'd probably need to book the pub too at this rate :twisted:

Only if you bring lots of money (or preferably your own beer), the hotel sells really expensive fluid which it claims is beer but which tastes like it has been recycled a couple of times if you get my drift

Already in hand my dear Jan, I can book a minibus for a dozen of us and that way it won't cost so much per person. I will need to go by bus anyway as:

a) I'm buggered if I'm driving there again to watch you lot drink
b) I will be staying in the hotel as I will have moved well before then

Good idea, just don't get caught with it by the hotel staff. A scorpion pit is probably just the start if they find you with non-hotel supplied booze

We can have a day-glo themed wedding. Seeing you, Dot, Jan and all the other lovely wimmin in the brightest of bright day-glo will really set Pooh off, won't it? :twisted: (Or send him into spasms of- joy.)

Don't think mC will concede to that though!
