Hi everyone,

I'm working on a theatre production of Going Postal, and was wondering if anyone could suggest any links to info or resources about the look and feel of Discworld? We could come up with our own stuff, but I'd like the look of our production to chime with existing ideas about how the Discworld looks.

Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas!

Thanks,

Helen

WELCOME goingpostalgrantham. My old am dram unit Boundary Players, they are on the web, recently undertook going postal and I was reacher gilt (and a girl too). We dressed psuedo Victorian or anything we could get from a charity shop.
The hanging stage doubled as the entrance to the Happy Liver. We kept props to a minimum so that the particians desk and reacher's room were one and the same, whilst Daves Pin shop could be turned round and then used as another prop.

Boundary players may be good for giving you a further idea. Might even be pictures. I haven't looked in lately!

Welcome to the site, goingpostalgrantham! Have you watched the film version of Going Postal? I'm not suggesting copying, but it might give some ideas. I think they got the right look for the costumes in that.

Good luck with the production!
