Proofs.

The final frontier (of Discworld memorabilia).

These are the voyages of Poohcarrot.

His five-year mission,
to explore strange, new on-line book-sellers and eBay,
to seek out Discworld proofs and haggle for them.

To boldly collect what no man has collected before.

Oooooh weee. Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo.

Hi boys. I trust you are all in as finer fettle as wot I am.

Just passing through. Finally got my greasy paws on an Equal Rites proof, the rarest of the rare DW books, and felt like a gloat! A book so rare that even Colin Smythe didn't know it existed!

Anyhoos, I haven't posted for 3 years and with the exception of WWD, the rest of you haven't really been trying, have you? I've still got more posts!

But I suppose y'all can't post a lot with broken computers. Quite clearly Chris' computer has a broken shift key, Pip's computer has a broken apostrophe key AND a broken question mark key, and DaveC's computer, well, excluding the "P" key, every other key appears to be sticking something rotten.

And nice to see Harry Pinflod, has either enrolled at Hogwarts, or has decided to impersonate Discworld characters, starting with Hodgesaargh. Isn't it a bit tricky taking photey-pics with a dirty, great, big owl perched on your making-a-picture-of-real-life-dead-quickly device? :p

And no, Pip, I haven't got a Shepherd's Crown proof yet, hence the last sentence in my original post (maybe too subtle!).

'Twas only a little barn owl, Pooh, and she had taken a shine to me for some reason. Every time the falconer released her to fly to the person holding her food she flew and landed on me instead which gave everyone else great photo opportunities. In the end, he had to put her away as she was more interested in me than her supper (nice to know I can still pull the birds though).

He's backkkkkkkk--and it's as if he never left!

Now let's all be very nice to him. We don't want to drive him away again like we did three years ago.
