I started watching a two hour long show called Doctor Who: The Ultimate Guide and gave up after twenty minutes.
Far from being the ultimate guide, it was just a series of sound bytes by various "famous" people (most of whom I didn't have a clue who they were). Complete and utter drivel for the easily amused and hard of thinking. :naughty:
What I am looking forward to is the documentary on BBC Radio 4 Extra on Saturday. I've heard parts of this already and it is much more what I want to know about. For example, an interview with the daughter of William Hartnell who talks about the letters that her father used to get and how he and his wife used to be sure to answer them all. And the fact that the BBC had originally meant it to be an educational show where they would go into the past to explore historical events and into the future to discuss new technology. The Daleks put paid to that.
They were such a popular enemy that the public demanded more monsters and less education.
