I liked the interaction between Jenny & the doctor, particularly her response when he said "we need a plan!" And also his response after curing himself, particularly with what we can presume of her tastes!

Nice one Mark Gatiss.

Diana Rigg was great. There were a lot of good one liners in that episode. I laughed at her 'wrong hands' come back.

If you don't remember, the Dr says something about the rocket getting into the wrong hands and it's the end of life on Earth blah, blah. And Gillyflower holds out her hands and say's, Do you know what these are?

And then, there was that bit when Jenny (a lesbian, and a married one at that) slapped the Doctor for kissing her in the heat of the moment (after saving him from a petrified, unable-to-feel-anything state). His response? "You have NO idea how good that feels!"

Blimey Q. You're getting the episodes pretty quick. I thought you guys were about a week behind?

Liked the episode a lot, except for the usual interfering, so called, "background" music.

Normally, yes, but for this series at least, they've been fast-tracked to the Sunday following transmission in the UK. The showed the Christmas special, The Snowmen, on Boxing Day over here.

:( I still haven't seen The Snowmen.
It was pretty damn good. Until The Snowmen, I didn't think that Steven Moffat could write an excellent Christmas special. I was proven wrong. Plus, it has Ian McKellen and Richard E Grant in it.

Tony, did you see the season opener, The Bells of Saint John?

Yes, I've seen all of this season and the Asylum of the Daleks, so I know that there's something odd about Clara, but feel that there was more to her story in the Christmas episode. o_O

There was. And the villain in The Bells of Saint John was also the villain in The Snowmen: none other than the Great Intelligence.

I'll PM you a rough summary of the events of The Snowmen...

Sorry about that Q. It suddenly occurred to me as I was watching it that you might do a synopsis, so I paused the playback and posted that last post.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble for the synopsis though. My memory these days is appalling and I really needed to catch up on what was going on. I'd forgotten (for example) what had happened to Amy and Rory. Because of that I didn't understand why the Doctor was shutting himself off.

Your synopsis is very useful to me. :)

By the way - is that Patrick Stewart doing the voice of the snow? o_O

And I finally got to see the bits in the cemetery that were filmed across the road from me. :)
