So who wasn't just a little blown away by the amazing new Doctor Who trailer? We may only be getting five new episodes - plus a Christmas special - this year, but each instalment looks like an action-packed blockbuster!
To celebrate the sci-fi drama's imminent return, this week's Friday Fiver takes a look at the five episodes that make up Series 7.1 - there's cowboys, dinosaurs, Daleks and more in store!
Episode One - 'Asylum of the Daleks'
Alright, so the series seven premiere looks awesome on so many levels. There's thousands of Daleks, what looks like a near-death experience for Amy (Karen Gillan) and the Doctor (Matt Smith) just being generally awesome - "Who killed all the Daleks?" "Who do you think?"
But we're going to have to give in to our geek side and admit that we're pretty psyched to see the return of the Special Weapons Dalek - last seen blowing all and sundry to smithereens in 1988's 'Remembrance of the Daleks'!
Episode Two - 'Dinosaurs on a Spaceship'
This one really does speak for itself - there's dinosaurs... on a spaceship. What's not to love about that?! But there's far more to this second episode than just that single, awesome gimmick...
For one, Doctor Who has once again assembled an exemplary guest cast. Rupert Graves - beloved by Sherlock fans for his performance as Lestrade - will pop up as Riddell, a big game hunter (in space!). And then there's veteran actor and Harry Potter favourite David Bradley as "space pirate" Solomon...
Episode Three - 'A Town Called Mercy'
Doctor Who hasn't done a full-blooded Western since 1966's 'The Gunfighters' and even if you're old enough to remember that William Hartnell shoot-'em-up, this new tale has a little bit of a Westworld edge to it, with a cyborg villain stalking the Doctor and pals...
But the highlight of ep three for us has to be a guest appearance from Farscape legend Ben Browder - getting the Stargate SG-1 veteran on board to play a cowboy is pretty much dream cult casting!
Episode Four - 'Cubed'
Little is known about Chris Chibnall's latest Who script, though it's been described as a "massive rollercoaster ride of a sci-fi story". But again, it's the awesome ensemble of actors assembled by casting director Andy Pryor that has us salivating...
Not only is the legendary Steven Berkoff due to appear for a guest stint, but we'll also get the chance to see our favourite Time Lord face off against historical figure Henry VIII (Stephen Blything) - excited yet?
Episode Five – Untitled
Dry those tears - it's farewell to the Ponds in the as-yet-untitled episode five, which has been shot on location in New York and features the return of the terrifying Weeping Angels...
The return of Steven Moffat's creepy creations is always welcome and the US setting also promises to lend this episode an epic scale. But putting all the fireworks aside, this mid-series finale is all about saying a sad goodbye to Amy and Rory. We'll miss 'em...
