The TARDIS arrives in Earth's future at a factory where human doppelgangers, "Gangers," are used as manual labourers.

A solar tsunami frees the Gangers, and the original people they are based on must decide whether to accept their counterparts or eliminate them.

As far as the girls go in the rebirth of Doctor Who series, Donna Noble was our fav, so funny. Catherine Tate was just brilliant.

I did not like her at all, she spoiled that series for me all she did was shout.
I agree I kept waiting for her to drop into one of her characters and start saying stuff like am i bovered, am i bovered though etc etc. Thank god she left.

IK really like Amy Pond, nothing to do with being easy on the eye ;) lol but think that she plays a really strong character.

Amy Pond was ridiculously irritating for a companion. The only thing that saved her from being lumped in with Mel was that Amy had some depth and character flaws. That was in the first season, mind. In this season, she's starting to show more to her, albeit not enough for my liking. But she seems like the opposite to those screaming companions, and in a bad way. In other words, instead of screaming all the time, she's too competent at times. However, The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon went a long way to redeeming her character.

Rory is more intriguing, and I like how he and the Doctor discussed earlier this season about Rory's bout as the Centurion. Arthur Darvill also reminds me of Tony Robinson, with that sort of sad, hangdog expression, like the whole world's on his shoulders. In fact, I seem to get the impression, this season at least, that Rory and the Doctor have a rapport, even if it is due to having shared perspectives on immortality.

Matt Smith is starting to grow on me as the Doctor too. While he is far from my favourite, I think he's growing into the role now.

Ditto with Steven Moffat. If we're very lucky, this season will be miles ahead of his first season.

I was appalled when I heard she'd been cast, but I grew to love Donna. To me, she was one of the best companions ever, as she didn't fall in love with The Doctor, and had no qualms in telling him when she though he was wrong.

OI. Spaceman!!!

Pregnant WITH Riversong? Ummmm I think you need a boy type and a girl type to make a baby..... meh!... Could be the start of a very interesting storyline though ;)
