Nice to see you back, Del!!

You might have loved The Doctor's Wife, but you're gonna not like the next one, I don't think.

I found it very bitty, and difficult to understand.

It doesn't help that the first three characters we're introduced to are all in (for want of a better description) spacesuits, so you can see their faces, or hear what they're saying properly.

On the plus side.....   I get to carjole my teen into coming over to visit on the nights Dr Who is on.... heh heh heh ... so every episode is a wonderful episode for me

I've got to tape it tomorrow night, along with that new show, Outcasts. I'm off out to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides tomorrow night.

I am looking forward to Outcasts Q... though I don't know much about it.

I would LOVE to record the Dr Who series so I can replay it and do our "DVD moments" you know where you go forward frame by frame so you CAN see inside the space helmet, etc... of is that just ME...(and alot of other stuff). I brought a DVD recorder.... and ALOT of the discs.... but have NO idea how to hook it up to the cable box.

That's what a hard drive recorder is for. :) You don't need to record to disc if you don't want, just record it to the inbuilt hard-drive. Mine has 72 hours worth of space. Most of what I have on it are Mythbusters and Doctor Who, while Mum has Time Team, various documentaries, and so on.

Yeah but you have to PAY for the harddrive. I have only got the base pack and the movies (I love World Movies). Now if I had the full package I would be watching Dr Who on UK TV  a WEEK ahead!

I don't have Pay TV. Waste of money, especially when I use the local library to get DVDs. The hard-drive is a hard-drive recorder and DVD player.

Ohhhhhh... I am in a black spot. Can only see Free TV with a winters worth of snow. Everyone around here has Pay TV. They have been promising to fix it for 10 years but they don't. (You know... that law that says everyone is entitled to TV reception?)

Don't you have a set top box or something?

Now heres the rub.... noone I know in the area has a set top box.... because we all have Pay TV. As we have had since it came in. I should put a letter to the editor in the local rag huh? Yeah I should do that.

Do I need an antennae? And special cables? Would love to get rid of the Pay. There are soooooooo many free channels now.

Hmmm...You may need an antenna in the first place on the roof, but other than that, I think you just plug the set-top box into the aerial and then the TV.

Look, I'm not the expert here. Go see a TV person. :)

I watched The Rebel Flesh tonight..... I mean usually I get quite animated about a Dr Who episode good or bad..... this one was sort of ... meh!

Do you think they are trying to set up the scenario that the Dr Who who was killed in the first episode is the doppelganger?????

Saw the person looking through the hatch again.... hmmmm. But that just seemed to be "stuck" in there.

Disappointed.

As far as the girls go in the rebirth of Doctor Who series, Donna Noble was our fav, so funny. Catherine Tate was just brilliant.
I was appalled when I heard she'd been cast, but I grew to love Donna. To me, she was one of the best companions ever, as she didn't fall in love with The Doctor, and had no qualms in telling him when she though he was wrong.

OI. Spaceman!!!
same as me that!

I have actually heard Colin Baker singing that song. :)

Nice image, BTW. :)

I'm yet to see The Rebel Flesh, due to watching Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last night, but I will soon, along with the first episode of Outcasts.
