I don't buy all the extras Tony  I was given the World of Poo by Bernard Pearson for my 50th birthday and wasn't remotely tempted by the WH Smith 'exclusive version'

This one seems to me to be really tenuous and frankly eveyone would be better off with Henry Mayhews excellent book anyway

Call me a cynic but this sounds like another rip-off production ready for Christmas that even if it carries Terry's name on the cover is highly unlikely to actually be written by him
That reminds me of this load of crap that was in a simular vein:Terry Pratchett - The Spirit of Fantasy

It sounds to me like the equivalent of the Diaries. I doubt that it is as detailed as the Compleat Ankh-Morpork. On the other hand, Mayhew's work is out of copyright, and this could be a way to make some of the information in it more widely available. I will be interested in looking at it when and if I get the chance.

£1.99 from The Works, and it's just cut and pasted from other sources and nothing new and some observations of his own, at least the Diaries were fun in parts with something new in them and they could be used as diaries.

Just a note: that links to the Spirit of Fantasy, not Dodger's Guide to London.

Try the real thing first though. Mayhews book is easily available, inexpensive, and well worth a read

The key to any of these is the possessive apostrophe.

If the title says, "Terry Pratchett's" you know it's some kind of cash-in deal where others have borrowed the brand.

The Amazon listing says Terry Pratchett (author), 144 pages, to be published by Doubleday Children's Books. Hmm. Given that Amazon has been known to advertise books that never existed, I don't think there is enough evidence to predict what, if anything, this will turn out to be.
