I'm up for it. If anyone tries to touch my food I'll attack them with my cutlery!

BTW I am listed as A829 Dotsie. Dunno who this Jo person is.

To everyone going to the convention...

Online booking for the Gala Dinner (Sunday evening) is now open.

Thing is  you can put in a request to sit with friends so long as they do the same (and aside from having people you know to yell or lob bread rolls at, there may be pre-nupts to celebrate too ;) ) but you need to quote their member no'sas well as their names... Me (A825) and pooh (A824) are easy to find as is Sjoerd (A885) - I think I've spotted Dotsie (Jo - A832?) but no sign of Who's Wee Dug under his profile anyway and I don't know if anyone else on here is going but if you are would you like to do this as well?

Because of that I haven't booked myself in yet, so the question is - are you going to this bash and if so, do you want to let me help you eat your dessert... ...I mean go as a group? :p
I've registered under my round world name early number in 1st quarter would have to look it up, but I won't be going for the gala dinner because of the poor menu for veggies breaded Auberine on a bed of veg stew only choice, one choice of starter while the options all have two, then in reply on Bernards site they said the desserts are veggie for £45 quid not bloody likely I would have been happy with Salmon or simular.Sjoerd S in front mean supporting only S58 A in front means fully paid attending member.

NP Dug - the other Dug has to nominate us as well to get matched up so he won't be doing that obviously... well not if he's got any sense

I did think the veggie options looked a bit manky - watercress soup and aubergine schnitzel don't sound at all tempting even if you like those veggies especially for the prince. Apparently there's stuff going on for everyone on this bash even if they aren't going to be dining so we'll still see you and no doubt will catch up with you around some bar or other later on! ;)

Oh yes ther is always alternative events and panels on and I may see you all in the bar before and after. ;)

Dotsie I hope he has paid for his membership then, you know what bloodly freeloaders some of these Prince's can be. :)

Jan Get your coat you've pulled.
I'll do more than pull believe me

The B dessert is a Bavarois more commonly known in the UK as a Baba - as in Rum Baba which is a kind of spongy doughnut soaked with syrup (and alkyhol if you're lucky) - I'm not fussed about my starter pooh so OK and I'll go easy on your cojones as that might mess up our grounds for anullment...? ;)

Pooh - I misled you! Bavarois is a kind of bavarian creamy posh custard type thing usually with a liqueur in it - it is put onto Rum Babas (which are also known as Savarins, hence my confusion). Sorry

Bookmark news! This from Transworld & Lynsey
I have decided that I can make 800 bookmarks for the convention give or take. But to make it part of the publicity strategy I’m going to print something we’re doing with Terry on one side – I can't tell you what that is yet it’s a surprise! And have the forum on the other side. We are supplying the goodie bags not filling them so I’ll get in touch with the chairman and ask if the bookmarks can be added to the goodie bags by his team.

 So I'll be sending the artwork over to her and that's all out of our hands, and may well be in the goodie bags too. From her description of the print layout it looks as though this will be a one print side job so I'll send her the turtle design side.

The 'back' design with our quotes (all of them so far now, plus any that I've not already used) can now go into a leaflet design to go on the reception area for people to pick up and if Bouncy's still OK with doing some printing then I'll take those with me to the convention, so I'll get cracking on that next week. The leaflet will be easier to print anyway as there's no crucial registration to cope with. ;)
