I was at a medieval festival today and there was this old man demonstrating some quite impressive alchemy.

I enjoyed the experience twice as much because he looked and sounded disturbingly like a certain Mister P.Has anyone else had a similar encounter with an I can't believe its not Terry?

There was a man who used to patronise the newsagency that I used to work at, and he bore a strong resemblance to Pratchett, if Pratchett didn't have his hat.

There's a man in Mainz I chanced to meet sometimes in a bus or the tram, Dunno if he realized that I was looking surreptitiously at him pondering whether I should ask if he was enjoying his holidays in Germany.
Someday, however, I heard him speak German. Problem solved.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes. A man playing the PART of Terry Pratchett in the play Nanny Ogg's Cookbook on Sunday. My 11yr old was SO excited when she saw him she almost screamed! And was so disappointed when he signed her program NOT with TP's sig

Nanny Ogg's erotic cookbook in a play... that must have been something to see.

and perhaps by not an 11yr old

Unless there were some radical changes in the recipes.
