There are obviously hundreds, of one liners and sentences from Terry's novels that always raises a smile to a chuckle to a full blown guffaw, so what are your favourites?

To start things off I am re-re-reading 'Moving Pictures' and this line made me appreciate the subtle genius of the author:-

"...there's as saying that there's a saying that all roads lead to Ankh-Morpork. And it's wrong. All roads lead away from Ankh-Morpork, but sometimes people just walk along them the wrong way"

I've got that last one as a signature somewhere.

From Good Omens,i always quite liked :

“DON'T THINK OF IT AS DYING, said Death. JUST THINK OF IT AS LEAVING EARLY TO AVOID THE RUSH.”

From Hogfather :

“Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.”

Personal quote that i rather like and agree with :

“I'd rather be a rising ape than a falling angel.”

My favourite lines are mostly character dialogue and context dependent: (I can't be bothered to look em up so I probly got the words wrong)

There's just one thing that's missing: a paying audience.

I'd be King and tell Mr Vimes what to do? He'll go spare! (the whole conversation)

Fred! Helppp!

We always know exactly where we are!

'Brother Doorkeeper?'
METAPHORICALLY.

'I can blow anything,' said Glod.
'Really?' said Imp. 'That must make you very popular.'

'Don't let me detain you.'
