Firefly

Firefly is awesome, Jayne has to be the best character in it. It was a shame that it got cancelled. Gotta love Summer. Another good Josh Whedon series is Doll house with Eliza Dushca o_O: Faith from buffy

Got to say I love em all

Firefly was stopped way to early.

Hope Fringe doesn't end anytime soon :(

Had a crush on Avon too!

Now, here's one for the older folks- remember the Outer Limits anyone? Was in black and white!

And this one has a young smaller (but not by much) eared Nimoy in.

Use to get special permission to stay up late to watch these.

How are doing with the box set Tony?
I watched them all and enjoyed them - although it's really annoying that they cut the series just as I was getting interested in the origin of the characters. Shepherd Book for example: it's clear there is much more to him than meets the eye. Someboby they meet says: "Him? He's no Shepherd." - so what is his back story? Serenity didn't go any further to explaining about him either.

I'm looking forward to introducing Sharlene to this series. ;)

Jayne, the man they call Jayne

He robbed from the rich
And he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man
And gave him what for
Our love for him now
Ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton
The man they call Jayne

Our Jayne saw the mudders' backs breakin'
He saw the mudders' lament
And he saw the magistrate takin'
Every dollar and leavin' five cents
So he said "you can't do that to my people"
He said "you can't crush them under your heel"
So Jayne strapped on his hat
And in 5 seconds flat
Stole everythin' Boss Higgins had to steal

He robbed from the rich
And he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man
And gave him what for
Our love for him now
Ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton
The man they call Jayne

Now here is what separates heroes
From common folk like you and I
The man they call Jayne
He turned 'round his plane
And let that money hit sky
He dropped it onto our houses
He dropped it into our yards
The man they called Jayne
He stole away our pain
And headed out for the stars

He robbed from the rich
And he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man
And gave him what for
Our love for him now
Ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton
The man they call Jayne.
Beautiful

Tony

This hardback comic was released in November and cover's Book's backstory. I haven't read it yet, but I a can't wait too! It's By Joss and his brother Zack, who also worked on Dr. Horrible, Terminator and Fringe.

Well.

I finally got round to watching Firefly and Serenity at the weekend.

As Tony says up-thread, it began to get really good, then they zapped it.

Wasn't too keen on Serenity, especially with the 2 deaths, and especially, especially at the second death. o_O

Loved the episode called Trash.

Can't think why.

Nice tat, Nathan! ;)
