It wasn't straight to DVD - look at the effects! - it came out in the cinema in Aug 2005 in US, Sept here a month after I started work at cinema. it went to #2 at box office here and I think #4 in US. Not bad, eh.

My favourite episodes are Out of Gas, Jaynestown and Objects in Space. I love the filmand seeing that death on the big screen was such a moment, wish I'd seen it twice, you had to know it was coming, knowing how Joss treats his characters (Tara?).
