I knew he was going to die, but the way it happened, and how suddenly it happened was a shocker.

Morena Bacarin really is the most stunning looking woman, isn't she?

Imagine how beautiful the babies would be if she and Nathan go their thang on?

Well from the actors point of view, it would be great to try out a death scene, particularly if the show's already been cancelled. Then you can cheerfully rattle your last breath, and make all those fans cry.

The show had been cancelled, and this was a straight to DVD movie to wrap things up.

I was most miffed.

I had to close my eyes, and envisage Nathan Fillion nekkid to calm myself down!

;)

It wasn't straight to DVD - look at the effects! - it came out in the cinema in Aug 2005 in US, Sept here a month after I started work at cinema. it went to #2 at box office here and I think #4 in US. Not bad, eh.

Glad you've finially seen it now, , I'd forgotten that you hadn't... o_O My favourite episodes are Out of Gas, Jaynestown and Objects in Space. I love the filmand seeing that death on the big screen was such a moment, wish I'd seen it twice, you had to know it was coming, knowing how Joss treats his characters (Tara?).

I took it for granted you had seen it as i got the DVD off you Bouncy but hey. Got there eventually
Still a very dramatic finale in Serenity and the effects are brilliant. Didn't remember it in the cinema but good to know it did well dave

Yeah, sorry if that seemed like a rant earlier, I was just shocked that Bouncy (and now you) didn't know it was on Big Screen!

Blimey. On an unrelated matter, I was googling, and found this:

Nathan Fillion auditioned for the role of Angel back in early 1996.

Can't see it myself.

He was uber-creepy as Caleb.
