Really enjoying the this season. :)
Both Peter and Walter in danger of losing themselves in different ways... Hope they both get out of it OK.

I read the episode reviews on EW.com, so I know what's happening to each of them.

I don't mind spoilers (but I've "resigned" from a forum that gave me so much grief for posting that the actor who plays Castiel on Supernatural was guesting in another show!).

To me, spoilers don't mean much, as it makes all the diff when you actually see it.

I knew that Kaitlin was leaving/killed off in NCIS months before I saw the episode, but the way it was done was still shocking.

Fringe is such a brilliant show, it is such a shame that it's been "on the bubble" as the Americans say, for all of it's five years.

Walter is a fabulous character, and it is a damned shame that John Noble never got an Emmy to acknowledge this.

Also, the fabulous acting of Anna Torv was not recognised. Her character being "taken over" by Bell was superb!

I generally try to avoid spoilers, though I don't expect the world to necessarily comply with my wish to avoid them.

Despite this general spoiler aversion, I'm currently having a 'Downton Abbey catch-up marathon', and I managed to significantly spoiler myself about a number of particularly shocking plot developments by reading Wikipedia. Who would have thought there would be spoilers in Wikipedia?! Curiosity killing the cat*, etc.

But yeah, on topic - completely agree with you about John Noble especially. Brilliant performance. :)

I am so glad they got a chance to finish telling their story after everything. I think the season 4 ending would have been a good ending, but I'm very hopeful that they'll do just as good a job (if not better) this season.

* I am referring to the proverb there, that is not one of the Downton Abbey spoilers.

I've been impressed by the way the series has twice re-invented itself, starting off as a standard x-files/monster of the week type show, then on to the alternate universe story which had a good run and now on to this season, changing the entire mission, environment, resources, well, everything except the characters at a stroke. Bold moves from the writers/producers.

Can't wait to get the final season on DVD. A few months ago I picked up seasons 3 and 4 in a charity shop for £4 each. :)

Thanks to Bouncy for getting us addicted to it by lending us S1-3.

I previously got S1 for £7 in Tesco a while back and just need to hunt down S2 and 5 cheap. 5 was only released on DVD on the 13th of May.
