It will be fun to see what Tiffany's been up to and knowing the Tiffany series she'll probably be 19 or so? Early twenties? I wonder if she married Preston :) we won't know until Terry writes it but im already excited!

To be honest I was really worried raising steam wouldn't come out. I mean I'm sure it's going to be a while until Terry passes away or rather, his writing career passes away but what with his alzheimers so well known now and the fact he can't write the books with his own hands, I honestly thought we wouldn't see Raising Steam and I'm still worried now for any future books y'know? Probably silly of me, Terry isn't cenile but Discworld is my.... world, if you get what i mean.. the fact that one day our omiscopes wont be able to track it's progress is a scary thought to me, it's also very sad and the fact that it may happen in oh, I don't know, 2 years? 5? doesn't bear thinking about...
That statement goes for Terry himself too.

Jan van quirm is right too, he'll carry on writing for as long as he can but I do hope he can find the time to spend with his family and not have his schedule (the book signings etc.) be too cramped for them.

Not only is Rhianna a writer in her own right but she's also heavily involved with Terry's new production company Narrativia which is making The Watch series (working title CSI Ankh-Morpork  ). Guy Burt is the lead writer for that but she's co-writing and has said she has several new character outlines including a new Igorina in the forensics department with Cheery. This was announced at the last Birmingham DWcon in 2012 and Terry said then that she's really 'gets' Discworld and has his full blessing to develop it after he's 'gone' with Rob and others from Narrativia - the torch is moving on, even if Terry's not the only one holding it!

Technically yes but scriptwriting is a very different animal. Some of the games she's been behond are fantastic but I don't see it as a natural progression to writing her dads fantasy.
She's so good at what she's chosen to do so why take on the task if its not what she's taken it on as a career already
