I have recently found your books, especially Disc World. Reading them has given me great pleasure and opened my mind and healed my heart in many ways. I want so much to thank you. So thank you. and Hugs. M-one

I'll drink to that, my sentiments precisely. I'm a new member myself (well, it says so right there, doesn't it?) and have been a fan for a long time. I feel exactly the same and also got the oppertunity to tell him at a book signing.
There was a poll recently, about queuing up or even camping out (it was the eve of the latest Harry Poohter premier). Well, back in the day I queued halfway round the block of the Rainbow (this was a biiiig block) for tickets to see the Allman Brothers' Band. I got to within about six people of the box office when they sold out. Was I pissed! Then Duane Allman died and the tour was cancelled. Well, that didn't make me feel any better, I'd have preferred another opportunity to queue for eight hours to see them. Anyway, the point is the only other person I ever queued that long for was Terry Pratchett, at a book signing behind the old Forbidden Planet in the West End. Thankfully no one died this time and I got to meet and chat with Terry, albeit briefly (there were nearly as many people behind me as in front, and I thought I'd got there early!). Exactly as archerinwood said: such a nice guy. He took the trouble to ask about you and then wrote something different and appropriate in every book  (If you're interested, he wrote "May you live in interesting times, Nick" in mine. Needless to say it was a copy of 'Interesting Times').
Welcome from me too, mone, I think you'll love this site, I know I do.
