On the back of my 'Eric' book is that ISBN number then the only other #'s are the barcode and a smaller barcode with '00299' on top of it? o_O:

It should be printed by Gollanz, the book club edition didn't come out until 1998, and there will be a series of numbers somewhere on the page that includes the ISBN which must have a 1 at the beginning similar to the example shown below

Ha ha, clear as mud now! :laugh: It doesn't matter, I would never sell them anyway even if some of them were worth a bit unless I fell on really hard times :laugh:

Edit: just realised what PB meant, god i'm having such a dizzy day :rolleyes: Thanks for bearing with me Dug :laugh:

I'll check some of my hardbacks as that might make more sense now :)
