I must admit i used to have a Teddy when i was very young called....you guessed it "Teddy2, it had been handed down by my Mother. Then my Puppy( Welsh Corgi) at the time got hold of it and it was Good-bye Teddy. :laugh:

Only just spotted this thread. The Merrythought factory is 10 minutes walk from me and they still make lovely bears some of which I stock. They have their own shop so no point having the full range. :rolleyes: They don't do any repairs at the factory, if people contact them they put them in touch with my shop as I also run a teddy bear hospital :laugh:

They used to flood but they have built some defence walls along the river bank which means it is about 10 years since the factory was underwater. They have even done a bear in waders and a rainhat from the time they flooded in November 2000 :laugh:

This was my favourite Merrythought, but I had to sell him, he was too large & I had nowhere to keep him. OH refused to have him on our bed. :eek: :(

I think Teddys are taking over, There are thousands around, most of them are in my Grand Daughters Bedroom, You can't move for them :laugh: :laugh: They are cute though :oops: So she says :whistle:
