Sounds reasonable bikkit,but Ed looks so much like Hohenheim so I don't know why father didn't recognise him.Then again he hasn't seen Hohenheim for a long time...I think.

Edit: (cause I still don't want to double post) I've started soul eater (and spelling properly. Anyone notice?) It's really good. At first glance (as in first five seconds) you think "Oh, people fighting spirits. Hasn't this been done before 1000.2 times?" But it hasn't. Not with the weapon actually being another person (just shapeshifted, obviously) and the good people actually eating souls (Which must be more fun and more tasty than stopping bad guys from eating them, right?) Also I love the art style. MUCH Less creepy than fruits basket. Apart from the fact that every other thing has a face. And not a cute one.

But young hohenhiem (adult hoho is more depressive) is more like ed than al. Anyway, technically al has long hair for most of the series (untill briggs)

Ithink it's just a case of Al taking more after his mother, and Ed taking more after his Fathyer (which is probably why he and Hohenheim don't get on)
