I'm pretty sure he can't be the only dragon left.

(I love dragons and dream of owning a few  Dragons of Pern was my first series of books I bought and kept cos it had dragons in em )

From the trailer for next week, I hope not too.

I love Anne McCaffrey's Pern series. I want to live on Pern, be Lessa & Impress a Golden Queen. I have most of her books & my friend painted me a super Dragon in watercolours using a Pern book cover picture as a guide.

I loved the Anne McCaffrey books too. I used to read them before going to sleep in the hope that I'd dream myself to Pern.

I'd love to see the filming technology they used in Avatar used to make a series of Dragonrider books.

There has been talk, lots of it, for years, about making a film of Dragonflight, the first of the Pern series, but nothing has ever come of it. :( :( :(

No! Not the cover, Tony. My friend painted it in water colours from the book cover. She is a very talented artist & it took her weeks, on & off, because she is also a perfectionist. :)

Blimey! I thought that WAS the cover.
This is the cover Tony I was given this years ago as a Birthday pressie from a friend of mine who worked for Transworld. It's a little brusied in places I should get it repaired and framed.

Wow! That is brilliant, WWD.

I didn't even know they did posters for Pern books. Guess there's no chance of getting one now!

You deffinately should have it & the other one framed & hanging on your wall.
