This show , Moone Boy , started on Sky one last week and is set in Boyle in the West of Ireland (its a county capital but its still the backarse of beyond.
The show is bloody brilliant and well worth a watch.
Anyone else catch the first two episodes and if you didn't catch up with it

I've been stomaching Mrs Brown since the early 90's so i don't find it funny anymore to be honest. He's not doen anything new since the original radio version.

Angelica Heuston plays Mrs Brown in the film Agnes Brown.
Was never a huge fan of Brendan o Carroll anyway and the show makes me cringe. I think its a lot more popular in England than anywhere else .

Yeah once you get over Mrs. Brown being a guy it gets old v. quickly

Saw Moone Boy last week for the first time - it does have a quirky charm but not sure its got enough of an edge to it to counteract the cutesy-pie daft Irish bits. o_O Talking about the fat club thing not the hole in the wall part - that was pretty funny ;)

That was episode three. The first two were funnier again.
