I may have to collect the French books for the cover art.
I thought the same thing, then buy another English hardback and swap the covers over (unless you can get an English translation with those covers).
Or use them to learn French! Do you reckon Quirmian is written as is in French, or is it put into a different language?

Sorry DaveC, but when it comes to speaking foreign languages I am ashamed to admit that I am very much in the stereotypical English persons mold. I can manage to speak V-E-R-Y.....S-L-O-W-L-Y.....A-N-D.....L-O-U-D-L-Y, but that's about all. I did try but have little ability for learning language. I even lived in South Africa for 7½ years. I could, at the end, speak a smattering of Afrikaans, although I found I could understand most conversations. I also spent most of my school life trying to learn French (compulsory subject) without any discernible fluency. :(

I passed a cinema in France many years ago. They were showing Hot Shots Part Deux, except it was called Hot Shots Part Two over there.
Marvellous! It's probably already been said, but what's Mort called in France?

It's called 'Mortimer' according to Colin Smythe's site. :)

Thought it looked familiar.

Is that meant to Granny and Cutangle fighting in the background? I like the sillouettes.
I think so - and I love the ghostly A'tuin at the top there.

There's much more going on in that picture than first meets the eye.
