I haven't watched Captain Scarlet, so I can't say that I mourn for Francis Matthews. But I remember watching all sorts of episodes of Scooby Doo as a kid. I saw the news headline, but didn't remember why Casey Kasem's name seemed so familiar. Now I do.

Casey has been in the US entertainment news in the last few weeks, due to a huge disagreement between his (young, blonde) wife and his kids as to his final treatment.

I think the wife basically held him in their home, and wouldn't let the kids visit until they got a court order.

Very sad.
