Maggie Stables is dead. She may be obscure to almost all of you, but she played Doctor Evelyn Smythe, an important companion to the Sixth Doctor in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio dramas. She played the woman who turned the Sixth Doctor from an arrogant blowhard into a far more likeable person.
