We forgot to say goodbye to Thomas Round. One of the best D'Oyly Carte and Sadler's Wells lead tenors, founder of Gilbert and Sullivan for All, singer in oratorio and concerts that were broadcast on radio and television, and heard on many recordings. Died in early October last year, just 2 weeks before his 101st birthday.

William Chamberlain has just passed away. He the father of Azaria Chamberlain, who was snatched by a dingo in 1980. The case was world-famous at the time, and the Chamberlains were treated abominably by the media and the NT Government.

Were they compensated afterwards? Were they, hell!

William is still alive and kicking and feeling somewhat paranoid :doh:

Tommy Allsup, the guitarist who avoided Buddy Holly's fatal plane crash, has died aged 85.

The famous rockabilly and country guitarist famously escaped death when he lost his seat on the plane in a coin toss.
