One Book Recommendation

The King of Elfland's Daughter - Dunsany

A seminal work - I rate it as good as LoTR. Written in normal prose but with language so sweet it reads like a poem.

Have you heard the concept album? The story is cut to the bone but there are some nice folk/rock style songs and it is narrated by Christopher Lee (Who also plays the King).
